2K a year Brighton Solutions is conducting a search for an individual to join the Inventory Control team as a Project Planner / Sr Inventory Control Specialist within the Accounting and Finance Department.
In this role, you will be bringing your 5
years related Financials experience around Supply Chain / Purchasing / Stock Replenishment to play.
Key Responsibilities include:
Evaluating suppliers and their capabilities by various measures Prepare inventory documentation for the various stock components Ensure that inventories are constantly up to standards and create purchase plans to ensure the availability of stocks when needed Ensure that whatever merchandise are received meet order specifications Maintain daily invoices and shipment records to ascertain the state of all stocks Responsible for forecasting company's future stock needs Oversee the constant flow of stocks in and out of company's warehouse facility Prepare records used to access tax that is due Ensure maintenance of optimal levels of stock for availability as the need arises Set up operation standards for all to follow Ensure proper management of aging and excess stocks Review service levels regularly and reconcile inventories Recommend operational policies and goals to company's management Respond to complaints and queries concerning inventories and products Prepare and submit inventory control reports to supervisor Attend to inquiries concerning products and inventories Carry out inventory control to ensure inventories are at optimal levels Provide assistance and direction to colleagues as required Report and analyze data and present results to senior managers when necessary Foster effective and cordial relationships with clients Issue purchase order to clients Investigate complaints of customers Key requirements to successfully support this role include:
A bachelor's degree in logistics, business, management, accounting or similar discipline Lean inventory management experience Great Plains, Microsoft Dynamics GP or equivalent accounting tool experience Excellent communication skills Critical thinking skills:
Must be able to come up with revolutionary ideas for the company's growth Organization skills:
Must be able to organize schedules and inventories to ensure efficiency in work delivery Problem solving skills:
Must have the ability to anticipate problems and prepare to solve them Should have excellent analytical skills to joggle several contending issues and come up with the best decisions.
Lives in Excel or Sheets.
Excellent logistical skills to be able to track movement of supplies from the supplier to the warehouse This position is offered with strong compensation and excellent benefits, including a 401k match #IND.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
