Summary:
Under the direction and supervision of the Executive Director, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Executive Director, Superintendent of Recreation, Business Manager, Facilities Manager, and Superintendent of Parks, performing day-to-day administrative duties and special organizational tasks as needed and in a confidential manner as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited:
Review and maintain accurate and up-to-date Park District policies and manuals throughout the district Conduct studies, research, and technical investigations on various subjects and prepare reports for review Maintain and supervise documents and office files in compliance with Records and Retention requirements Coordinate District registration at various educational programs and conferences Submit legal notices to appropriate publications Serve as the Local Election Official for the District Serve as one of the F.

Qualifications:
Five years of progressive experience in office administration and/or office management; public sector administration experience preferred.
Excelled knowledge of application software, including Microsoft Office Suite is required.
Experience in sustained typing to transcribe notes from recorded tapes and hand-written documents is necessary.
Must possess or have the ability to obtain Notary Public.
INCENTIVES:
The wage range for this full-time position begins at $43,500 annually depending upon qualifications.
