EVEN Hotel & Tinley Park Convention Center EVEN Hotel & Tinley Park Convention Center Tinley Park, IL Tinley Park, IL Part-time Part-time From $17 an hour From $17 an hour In this position you are responsible for guarding, patrolling, monitoring & securing the entire facility to prevent theft, violence, or infractions.
Face to face guest interaction when needed as well as point person for after hours fire department response.
(Some) Responsibilities include:
-Perform regular security patrols of the entire facility, including the restaurant, recreation areas, banquet areas, guest room floors, administrative offices, front desk and lobby area, all parking lots, service & dock areas.
-Protect the property from theft, sabotage, fire & accidents.
Investigate and write reports on accidents, incidents, suspicious activities, safety/fire hazards & other security related situations -Respond to emergency calls & assist paramedics while onsite:
document report of incident.
-Write daily log reports re:
all patrols/duties performed -Monitor receiving docks -Provide assistance to customers, employees & visitors as needed.
-Activate/deactivate/respond/reset alarms daily -Protect the property from loiterers and others not conducting legitimate business within the premises.
-Respond/reset/investigate all sounded alarms during shift and assist Fire Department if needed when responding.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
