Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our team at Country Inn & Suites Tinley Park.
The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, including guest satisfaction, revenue generation, staff management, and financial performance.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a proven track record of success in hotel management.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and direction to hotel staff, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction and operational excellence Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve financial goals Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage services Recruit, hire, train, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service and achieve performance targets Foster a positive working environment and promote teamwork, communication, and collaboration among staff members Maintain a strong working relationship with hotel owners, corporate management, and brand representatives Ensure compliance with brand standards, company policies, and industry regulations Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel industry, with at least 1 years in a leadership role Proven track record of achieving revenue and profitability targets Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team Excellent customer service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office applications Knowledge of local market trends, competitors, and industry best practices Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
