Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, diagnose injuries and illnesses and develop treatment plans.
Order, perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as x-rays, MRI and laboratory tests.
Prescribe medications and non-pharmacologic treatments.
Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure high quality patient care.
Educate patients on their conditions as well as preventative care and treatment plans.
Provide follow-up care, including post-operative care and wound dressing.
Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
