FP&A Analyst - Tinley Park, IL
About the Company:
Our client, the industry-leading provider of terminal services, is looking to hire one or two financial analyst(s) for its growing FP&A department. The candidate(s) must be able to work in fast-paced environment with minimal supervision while working with the company's management team.
Position
Responsibilities:
? Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures
? Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
? Oversee and manage the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modeling tools
? Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis
? Quarterly and Monthly Financial reports and variance analysis
? Implement and work with a Business Intelligence Tool and Dashboard reports
? Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies and understand ROI in current and past projects, pricing, location rollouts as well as new projects
? Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
? Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
? Supporting Senior Management Team and Departments heads with in-depth analysis
? Prepare presentations to Board of Directors and Senior Management Team
? Minimum travel required
Qualifications:
? Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
? 1-2 years experience as either accountant or FP&A analyst
? Experience in logistics and/or engineering industry preferred
? Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
? Netsuite and Prophix experience desirable
? Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized and detail oriented
? Ability to follow precise directions and work with multiple departments
? Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
? Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivatedEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
